Thank you Pat, K9 Train for a wonderful weekend experience. The care given to Kenji was absolutely fantastic. I appreciate how you kept me informed of his daily progress. Your professionalism and care for Kenji allowed me to breathe easy knowing and seeing that he was in the best of hands. Thank you again. Kenji and I can’t wait to revisit.. K9 Train is the BEST!

I would highly recommend K9 Train for boarding and training. Pat from K9 Train was amazing with our two dogs. From the moment we met her and her husband we knew they would be a great fit to watch our babies. We left both of our dogs in her care for a week. She gave us daily updates and sent pictures. When we picked them up they were so happy to see us, but we knew they were well taken care of. I give them a 5 star rating.

Pat and Lou (of K9 Train) are a match made in “dog heaven”. They’re simply the best dog whisperer ever! They hosted Boomer, our 12 month old Siberian Husky and he connected with them instantly. In just one week, it was so obvious obvious how much Boomer enjoyed the nature and structure that they provided to him. It was clear that Pat and Lou’s K9 Train had re-engineered his mind positively because even though he was extremely excited to see us when we returned, he managed to keep calm upon their command to calm down. Further, even for days after we got home, we noticed Boomer was so much more attentive and that he promptly responded to commands. Pat and Lou’s K9 Train gave us a wide range of advice from proper diet to structured activities, to behavioral reforms. We also noticed the very humane approach used – no yelling, no force, no intimidation. Instead, I observed lots of verbal communication (as if speaking to kindergarteners) and a lot of positive reinforcement too. We were also very happy to meet Murphy, their English mastiff (such a gentleman dog) who was buddy/ role model for Boomer to learn from during his stay. My family and I believe that we were simply fortunate to have found Pat & Lou’s K9 Train. I will recommend them any day.

I am writing this review with the hope of expressing my gratitude to two ppl and an organization that provided an extreme amt of expertise along with love and care for two of my most beloved friends, my dogs.
I initially met Lou while walking my little puppy Hunter . At that time he was walking his giant mastiff, Judge. We got to talking and i learned that he and his wife were trainers. I called for an appt for training for my Hunter.

At that time I met Pat and scheduled a date. I decided on daily training for my pet.
I’m not a first time handler but haven’t had a dog in many years and a well behaved dog is impt to me. Needless to say I learned so much from Tall to Small! My dog was cared for implicitly and learned the necessary tools for good behavior. Might I also add that as a handler I also had to be trained.

Fast forward to a few months later another dog fell into my lap and the first stop was to Pat and Lou of Tall to Small! Bruno a larger pup was also taught necessary skills for behavior with amazing results.
But the real reason I write this is to share that I travel frequently and I am super attached to my dogs. They are so much more than dogs to me and it was very hard to leave them. I take my guys to Pat and Lou for boarding and I feel totally anxiety free. I know my dogs will be just as loved and cared for as I care for them.

They are truly good people who are ethical and humane handlers who provide a safe, nurturing environment. I feel as if I’m taking my children to my mothers when I take my dogs to Pat. I trust them implicitly in all aspects of handling while my dogs are in their care

Sincerely,
Toya Winfield.
